Signal With Noise

Signal With Noise · Augmented Reality

Signal With Noise is a future tech arts and culture agency working where emerging technology meets artistic practice. AR, generative AI, immersive experiences — they translate the language of tomorrow into things you can feel today. The build apps for creative and cultural organisations, from art galleries to audio apps for musicians as well as creating fun, educational and cutting edge apps for families and children.

This summer Signal With Noise has partnered with us to produce a series of ‘Build A Rubbish Dinosaur’ apps for children in the school holidays, as a fun, cheap, and exploratory activity for the whole family!

The app works with GPS, and as you walk around hunting for clues, young people will learn key map reading skills, adn follow the fun, sometimes bonkers and educational story about prehistoric times in the very area they are in and what dinosaurs actually existed in the UK and what the area was actually like, climate, land, creatures - putting them directly there. Each ‘find’ could be a dinosaur bone… or it could be rubbish! They learn about prehistoric local history and the importance of keeping Britain tidy! At the end of their adventure, they get to see the ‘dinosaur they created! Will it be a full dinoaur, or a RUBBISH DINOSAUR! - See our experiences for more details.

A natural GASP collaborator. Their work has appeared in gallery spaces, public squares and digital environments worldwide.
